District 1 November 15-16th Festival Information

Schedule:

SATURDAY November 11th (tentative, this is last year’s schedule)

8:00 Troupes arrive, pick up box with T-shirts, badges, lunch stickers (to go on back of badges) in front of Auditorium/Theater Lobby

 8:00 JUDGES MEETING IN AUDITORIUM/THEATER

8:30 Thespians and Troupe Directors in CAFETERIA

 9:00 I.E.s begin (click here to see the entire I.E. Schedule)

12:00-1:00 Student LUNCH pick up in Cafeteria (delivered at 12:00, 12:15 and 12:30)

Judges lunch in 700 building room 7-108

5:00 MOST I.E.s: DINNER BREAK (with your Troupe. Make sure your director knows where you are and who you are with!) List of Fast Food & Restaurants close to Chiles

6:00 Duet Acting I.E.s over and those groups can go grab some dinner with their Troupe. Make sure your director knows where you are and who you are with!)

7:00 Presidents meeting Room 5-123/Sponsors Meeting Room 5-116

7:00 Auditorium doors open for Showcase

7:15 Preview of State video in Auditorium

 7:30: CLOSING SHOWCASE: Chiles Auditorium

TROUPE DUTIES

Each troupe is assigned to help with one of the responsibilities of the Festival as indicated below.

All doorkeeper/timekeepers need to report to the cafeteria at 8:30 for training.
